Choosing a Clara number

When you sign up for Clara, you’re assigned a dedicated phone number. It’s included on every plan, and it’s yours to use for as long as you’re subscribed.

Two ways to use it

Either way, Clara answers the same way and sends you the same call summaries. You can also switch between the two at any time.

Can I choose my number?

During setup, Clara assigns you a number automatically. In most cases, this will be a UK mobile number. Custom or local numbers may be available depending on your plan. If you’d like a different number, message us and we’ll see what’s available.

Porting an existing number

If you’d like to use an existing phone number as your Clara line, contact our support team. We can help with number porting on a case-by-case basis.

What happens to my number if I cancel?

If you cancel your subscription, we hold your Clara number for one week. After that it’s released and may be reassigned. If you’ve been advertising your Clara number as your business line and you’re thinking of cancelling, contact support first so we can talk through your options.
